Corrosion Photo's

Blown Bottom

Although these hydraulic cylinder's had a double bottom, they had no liner protection to prevent them from rusting and rupturing

Blown Double Bottom

These photo's are just an example of the deterioration process that occurs from electrolysis. A lot of elevator repair companies are continuing to wrap and not installing their jacks with the required PVC liner to protect them from upcoming corrosion. We offer a $100.00 inspection fee for this service, don't put your life on the line.

Decayed Jack Pipe

You can see in the photo on the left the varying degrees of thickness in the pipe, these findings were evident throughout the entire length of pipe on this particular hydraulic cylinder (jack). The photo on the right displays a hydraulic cylinder (jack) that was only 5 yrs. old, however it was installed with no static protection (PVC liner) and a rock laying against it created electrolysis to occur rapidly and consequently it ruptured.
